At the first workshop at the Status Seminar 2017 on February 21, the first meeting of the early carrer scientists involved in the PLANT 2030 ACADEMY took place.

The activities of the PLANT 2030 ACADEMY were introduced in detail. The doctoral students and postdocs got to know each other and discussed self-chosen issues with their peers in a relaxed atmosphere.

Furthermore, mentoring as a powerful tool for professional and personal development was introduced.
